The plaque comes with two 4mm pre-drilled holes, which are countersunk to ensure a neat and tidy mounting finish. On the reverse, four rubber spacers are fitted to hold the plaque slightly away from the wall. This allows rainwater to run down the back rather than across the face, helping maintain the clarity of the engraving.
When exposed to rain, the engraving may temporarily appear darker, once dry, it will return to its original shade.
